PURPOSE:To discriminate whether an object to be inspected is exposed to radiations or not by applying the voltage consisting of obtaining square waves or sine waves from a variable frequency oscillator and amplifying the same to the object to be inspected via a conductive needle electrode and detecting the displacement of electric conductivity. CONSTITUTION:The square or sine waves of 0.1-200kHz frequencies obtained by an oscillating circuit 3 are amplified by an amplifier 4, and are applied to an object 1 to be examined, for example, a potato, onion or the like by way of the conductive needle electrode of a sensor part 2. The waveform and frequency are selected depending upon the kinds of the objects to be examined. The signal obtained by the sensor 2 is amplified by amplifiers 4, 5, and are inputted to a display circuit 6, which detects the displacement of conductivity. First, the electrode of the sensor part 2 is allowed to contact both of the object unexposed to radiations and the perfectly exposed object, and the displacement components of conductivity are beforehand measured with the circuit 6. Thereby, the object of unknown exposure conditions is discriminated, and the presence or not of germinatability is easily decided. |
