PURPOSE:To reduce disturbance of an image and to enhance transfer efficiency, by installing a coating means for uniformly coating an insulating liquid on a photoreceptor before a developing means, and pressing means for pressing a recording sheet into contact with the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:An insulating liquid is thinly coated uniformly on the surface of a photoreceptor 1 with a coating unit 9 before a 2-color image forming process. The unit 9 is arranged around a belt 7 together with a belt charger 73, a belt cleaning plate 74, etc.. A transfer roller 7' is used for pressing a transfer paper P into contact with the surface of the photoreceptor 1. Charged particles are easily transferred to the sheet and disturbance of an image and uneven transfer are prevented by uniformly coating the insulating liquid to the photoreceptor surface and pressing the recording sheet to its surface and by virtue of absorptivity and surface roughness of the sheet. |
