Process for the production of a refractory body

Zircon sand dissociated with plasma is reduced to powder and then the powdered product thus obtained is shaped and next subjected to a cure to obtain a homogeneous body. The refractory product obtained exhibits good properties up to temperatures which reach 1650 DEG C and finds its application in steel melting processes. <IMAGE>
