PURPOSE:To polish the surface of a finished part uniformly as well as to improve operation efficiency, by attaching an abrasive wheel tight to both ends of a connected turning shaft where the central part is connected a drive shaft, and rocking the abrasive wheel according to an irregular form on the surface of the finished part. CONSTITUTION:At the time of polishing finish operation, an abrasive 38 is made linearly contact with a workpiece, a contact area is made smaller, pressing force is concentrated into one spot, surface pressure of the abrasive 38 is heightened and infeed of the abrasive 38 is made so better. And, abrasive wheels 14 and 14 are rocked according to an irregular form on the surface of a finished part, whereby the abrasive 38 surely reaches a concavity on the surface and polishes the surface uniformly, so that polishing finish operation efficiency is improved. In addition, the hole part 40 formed in a disk part of the abrasive wheel 14 makes ventilation so better, cooling the abrasive wheel 14 ad the abrasive 38, so that wear in the abrasive 38 is made little and its loading is prevented from occurring, thus high-speed rotation in the wheel is made attainable and operation efficiency is improved. |
