PURPOSE:To facilitate the management of tools, by storing a chart in which tool numbers correspond to pot numbers and off-set amounts, in memory and by displaying the chart on a display screen in response to the demand of indication so that the chart may be edited at will and outputted. CONSTITUTION:A chart in which tool numbers correspond to pot numbers and off-set amounts is stored in memory 11b. Further, by an instruction for displaying the tool data chart, the tool data chart is displayed on a display screen of a CRT and MDI device 12. Thereafter, by referring the displayed tool data chart the position of insertion of the tool data is indicated with the use of keys on a key board of the CRT and MDI device 12 and a cursor, and more than one tool data is inserted or moved to this position. Further, a plurality of tool numbers are removed or rearranged in the order of the tool numbers or the off-set amounts, and the tool data chart is outputted. Accordingly, the tool data may be suitably edited at will and is delivered, thereby it is possible to facilitate the management of tools.
