<p>The device consists of a clamping band (1) to wrap around the object to be secured (2) and two anchor feet projecting away from each other forming the ends of the band. When the two feet are clamped together they form a single foot (5) with anchoring lugs (6) which are entered into a locating hole (3') cut into the supporting chassis. The band also has two release levers (9) to disengage the anchoring lugs which form part of the sides of the foot. The ends of the band are formed into a hollow shell with a slit which takes the form of three sides of a rectangle, thus forming a tongue which is inclined outwards at its free end, is thickened towards the middle to form the lug and bent over at the end to form the unlocking lever. The clamp may be mass produced by one piece injection moulding and used for machine parts, pipes or cables mounted on a chassis.</p> |
