PURPOSE:To rapidly detect an important fault which affects a system by increasing the number of times fixedly to cal for a station to be supervised having high importance degree in order, according to the importance of the station to be supervised. CONSTITUTION:It is assumed that a station 2 to be supervised is designated as a station having the highest importance and a station 3 to be supervised, as the next one. In such a case, in the first call, stations to be supervised 2, 3, and 4 are called in order shown in figure as (1), (2), and (3), then a fault detection being performed. In the next call, only the station 2 to be supervised is called as shown in figure as (6). At such a time, when three times of calls are performed from a supervisory station 1, the station 2 to be supervised receives for three times of calls, and the station 3 to be supervised for two times of calls, and the station 4 to be supervised for one time call, and the station 2 to be supervised having the highest degree of importance is called with priority. Thus, the fault detection is performed on the station to be supervised with priority compared with other stations 3 or 4 to be supervised.
