PURPOSE:To obtain a developing toner having superior powder characteristics, particularly causing no conglutination of toner particles at high temp. by allowing metal oxide, carbonate, or silicate treated with a titanate type coupling agent to stick or to be incorporated to the surface of toner particles. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of inorg. compd. selected from metal oxides, carbonates, and silicates is stuck or incorporated to the surface of toner particles. And such inorg. compd. is treated with a titanate type coupling agent. The metal oxides to be used are those contg. at least one metal element selected from Groups IIIb, IVb, Vb, VIb, VIIB, VIIIb, Ib, IIb, and Al, Ga, In, Tl, Ge, Sn, Pb, Sb, Bi, and Po. Usable carbonates are those contg. at least one element selected from alkali metals and alkaline earth metals. Usable silicate is aluminum silicate. |
