<p>The rear mirror has a light collector at the vehicle rear or side. The collector consists of a large number of small optical lenses side by side. Each forms a given luminous point, the clarity of which corresponds to the average clarity of the visible zone concerned. There is also a receiving screen visible to the driver. This also consists of a large number of small optical lenses, working similarly to the collector. A bundle of optical fibres is used to transmit the image from receiver to screen.</p> |
