PURPOSE:A binding agent for glass fibers, containing a specific fatty acid glyceride as a lubricant, capable of imparting improved coherency to glass fibers and without giving hue difference even to parts with different thermal history in heat cleaning treatment. CONSTITUTION:A binding agent for glass fibers containing a fatty acid glyceride, e.g. ester of capric acid, lauric acid, etc., with glycerol, etc., having <=10 iodine value as a lubricant. The agent is a binding agent capable of imparting improved coherency to glass fibers and without giving hue difference even to parts with different thermal history in heat cleaning treatment. thereby the temperature in heat cleaning can be reduced or the amount of heat cleaning treatment can be increased.
