Thepackaging is for a set of furniture consisting of a dismantlable table and foldable chairs. It consists of two prismatic storage containers (1,2) holding the sections of the table or of the chairs made in an identical form. The storage containers are fitted with ledges (5,6) fixed to the container and extending at varying distances to its upper sides. The ledges project with some of its sections beyond the front surfaces of the storage containers (1,2) and in addition the ledge sections (5',6') are used to line up the containers axially and/or vertically when they are placed next to each other.
