PURPOSE:To manufacture a stable oil in water type emulsion using an oil-soluble surfactant by emulsifying an oil in a polyhydric alcohol in the first stage. When manufacturing the oil in water type emulsion. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of oil in water type emulsion, an oil-in-polyhydric alcohol (e.g., propylene glycol) type emulsion is prepared by using an oil- soluble surfactant e.g., sorbitan monostearate, etc., in the first stage. Then, water is added to the oil-in-polyhydric alcohol type emulsion to obtain a stable oil in water type emulsion. Thus, stable oil in water type emulsions can be manufactured by using an oil-soluble surfactant. |
