NEW MATERIAL:Phenylcarbamate derivatives of formula I [R1 is H, alkyl, OR1' (R1' is alkyl or amino-substituted alkyl); R2, R3 are H, alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl; R4 is H, alkyl, alkylcarbonyl; R5 is carbamoylalkyl, alkylsulfonyl; R6 is H, alkyl]. EXAMPLE:(2-Ethoxy-4-acetoxyacetamidephenyl)-morpholinocarboxylate. USE:Analgesic: they form almost no methaemoglobin, show low toxicity and are used for warm-blood animals including men. PREPARATION:The reaction of a derivative of formula II with a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, alkenyl or allyl isocyanate gives the compound of formula I. The reaction is usually conducted in an inert solvent such as methylene chloride or chloroform. |
