<p>The miniature circuit breaker is of the type which can be mounted, by clip action, on a carrying rail. The latter can also be used to support a mains bus-bar system. To make the connection between circuit breaker and bus-bar easier, the circuit breaker is fitted with a cable connection. It is permanently attached to the circuit breaker, e.g by welding to the fixed contact inside the housing. The free end of the cable has a connector for making the connection with the bus-bar. The only work required during installation is to snap the switch onto the support rail, plug the connector into the appropriate bus-bar, and connect the outgoing wire.</p> |
