Quick action closure coupling for fluid lines - has spring loaded bush controlling locking ball set and pushed back on plug insertion

The coupling is intended for connecting fluid-carrying lines. It comprises two coupling halves (I,II), of which one (II) carries a locking bush (10). This bush is axially movable against a spring (24) force and controls the movement of locking balls (11) contained in axial slots in the socket end (9) of this coupling half. On inserting the pluggable end (3) of the coupling half (I), these balls are engaged by an annular collar (14) on the end (3) to carry the bush with it, and are then pushed radially outwards. A further set of balls may be only radially movable in openings (12) of socket and can be held in their radially inward locking position by an annular shoulder (13) in the bush.
