PURPOSE:To restrict return rolling after an automobile has turned, by opening and closing a control valve for charging and discharging valves in a fluid spring chamber when acceleration in the right and left directions are greater than a set value and a body is in a prescribed rolling condition. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration sensor 39 senses acceleration in the right and left directions applied to a body and body height sensors 34F, 34R sense body heights on the right and left sides of the body. When rolling is caused in the body, the charging valves 20, 24 and the discharging valves 28, 31 communicating with fluid spring chambers 7 of respective wheels are opened for a prescribed period of time. Then, when sensors 39, 34F and 34R sense an acceleration greater than a set value and a rolling condition in a prescribed direction, the charging valves 20, 24 of the fluid spring chambers 7 on the side of contraction with respect to the rolling direction and the discharging valves 28, 31 of the fluid spring chambers 7 are opened for an additional period of time. With this arrangement, return rolling caused when a steering wheel is returned abruptly after an automobile has turned can be restricted. |
