PURPOSE:To discriminate the propriety of a reception state with simple constitution, by recording check marks, differing in density, at some blank part of a transmitted form. CONSTITUTION:At some blank part of a transmitted form 1, check marks 3a-3c, and 4a-4c differing in density are recorded in advance. At a reception, when recording paper is transported to mark read sensors 13a and 13b, a readout detection signal for the thick mark 3a is generated by the sensor 13a, and that for the thin mark 4a by the sensor 13 at the same time. The detection signal for the thin mark 3a is discriminated by a level discriminating circuit 17a and at the same time, a timer monitoring circuit 18 is triggered. Similarly, the detection signal for thin mark 4a is also discriminated by a level discriminating circuit 17b. The time monitoring circuit 18 monitors intervals of time of the marks 3a-3c. An encoder 20 converts the outputs of AND gate circuits inputting the outputs of the said discriminating circuits 17a and 17b and time monitoring circuit 18 into a code which corresponds to a reception state, and sends the code back to the transmission side. |
