An electronic detector of rotational motion, esp. for aircraft and ship navigation systems, is easily made in very small sizes. One or more conducting loops (2) are embedded in or attached to a carrier substrate (1). Current is passed through the loops. Parallel with the loops are one or more conducting elements (5).
