PURPOSE:To prevent a monitor from being out of synchronism by regenerating a clock for a stand-by memory from a pilot signal which phase-synchronizes with the horizontal synchronizing signal of a video signal to be divided, by providing the stand-by memory wherein the video signal to be divided is stored. CONSTITUTION:A video signal A to be divided from the input terminal 1 of a transmission part 100 and a dividing video signal B from the input terminal 2 are alternated by a switch 101 in time-division mode and a pilot signal synchronizing with the horizontal synchronizing signal of the signal is generated by a pilot signal generator 102. The pilot signal is superposed on the video signal selected by the switch 101 by an adder 103 to send the resulting signal from an output terminal 3. The separator 104 of a reception part 100 receiving this signal separates the pilot signal and video signal, and a clock generating circuit 106 generates a clock signal to make the signal A stand by in a stand-by memory 105. Through a switch 107, the video signal is outputted only when the video signal from the separator 104 and the signal B from the memory 105 are received, thus preventing a monitor from being out of synchronism. |
