PURPOSE:To obtain a stereoscopic video signal with one image pickup device, by making an optical signal of a two-transmission type into one transmission type with an optical wave director, through the separation of rays from an object into a left and right image with a shutter. CONSTITUTION:A shielding plate 6 is provided with two window holes 7L, 7R and rotating shutters 8L, 8R are provided by opposing to the window holes. An incident ray passed through the window holes 7L, 7R alternately with the shutter plates 8L, 8R and is made incident to an optical wave direction 12 as an optical signal of two-transmission type. The left and right signal from the optical waveguide is made incident to an image pickup device 15 as one transmission type optical signal. The output of the image pickup device 15 is mixed with a synchronizing signal from a synchronizing signal generating circuit 17 at a mixer 18. Further, motors 9L, 9R turning the shutter plates 8L, 8R are driven with a power supply 16 controlled with a synchronizing signal generating circuit 16. Thus, the shutter and the output of the image pickup device can be synchronized. |
