PURPOSE:To obtain a natural screen, by executing the control so that the rate of change of beam current controlling amount of an image pickup tube for color signal other that the reference color signal coincides with said rate of the reference color signal. CONSTITUTION:At the correction of white balance, a gain control voltage from conversion circuits 7GR, 7GB obtained basing on green as reference is applied to a red ABC circuit 2R', and a blue ABC circuit 2B', and the respective gains of the circuits 2R', 2B' are varied according to different color temperature. In this case, since the gain control voltage obtained basing on green as reference is used to obtain the white valance, the rate of change of a beam control voltage level picked up from the red ABC circuit 2R' and that from the blue ABC circuit 2B' are made equal to that from the green ABC circuit 2G' as reference. |
