PURPOSE:To reject impulse noise without giving much defect to an original signal, by outputting an input signal as it is when no impulse noise is superimposed and rejecting high-frequency band component only for noise period if impulse noise is superimposed. CONSTITUTION:A music signal applied from an input terminal is inputted to one terminal of a subtractor 13 via a delay circuit 21. On the other hand, an impulse noise included in the music signal is detected at an impulse noise detecting and controlling circuit 15 and applied to a switch 14 as a control signal after shaping. Further, in a high-pass filter 11, a transfer function F(s) as shown in (b) is provided, and if the impulse noise is included in the music signal, the contact of the switch 14 is closed, the output of the filter 11 is applied to another terminal of the subtractor 13 to obtain the music signal as shown in (d) where the impulse noise is rejected at the output terminal. Further, if no impulse noise is included in the music signal, the contact of the switch 14 is opened. |
