PURPOSE:The titled composition, prepared by adding an inorganic filler subjected to a specific treatment and a chemically modified polyolefin to a polyolefin resin, having improved mechanical strength and printability, and capable of giving a vacuum molded article having a good gloss. CONSTITUTION:A composition prepared by adding (C) 0.2-7pts.wt., preferably 0.5-5pts.wt., polyolefin chemically modified with a liquid rubber, preferably hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, and an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof to 100pts.wt. mixture consisting of (A) 30-80wt% polyolefin resin, preferably high-density polyethylene, and (B) 70-20wt% inorganic filler, e.g. calcium carbonate, treated with an unsaturated fatty acid, particularly <=10C fatty acid such as acrylic acid, and melt mixing the resultant mixture under heating at 200-240 deg.C for 5-15min. |
