SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING THE OPERATING PARAMETERS OF AN ADJUSTABLE OUTPUT-POWER MAGNETRON

Control system for controlling the value of each of operating parameters of a magnetron designed to deliver an adjustable output microwave signal under the most favourable conditions, this output microwave signal being modified by simultaneously varying the power applied to the magnetron and the value of the magnetic field which is necessary to the magnetron operation, this control system comprising a servocontrol device simultaneously controlling the operating current of the magnetron, the magnetic field of the magnetron corresponding to the selected power output and to the selected operating frequency of the magnetron, and also controlling a system for tuning the operating frequency of the magnetron.
