PURPOSE:To secure the safety of a vehicle by breaking a safety cable in the case that excessive force is applied to a steering-angle transmitting means so as to move a rear control valve to the neutral position, thereby maintaining rear wheels at the straight running state. CONSTITUTION:A pair of control cables 20, 21 are respectively constituted of outer cables 50, 51 and inner cables 52, 53, and then respective one ends of the inner cables 52, 53 are connected to each other by means on a safety cable 54 inserted into the connecting holes 43, 44 of a control beam 15, while respective other ends of the inner cables 52, 53 are connected to the spool shaft 33 of a rear control valve 16. In the case that a force more than a predetermined tension load is applied to the safety cable 54, the safety cable 54 is broken so as to cut off the transmission of a steering angle, and as a result, in the rear control valve 16, the spool is moved to the neutral position so that a power steering 12 is moved to fail safe. |
