PRODUCTION OF NONELECTRIFIABLE ROLLER

PURPOSE:To obtain a stable nonelectrifiable roller, by adding a certain specific fluorine compound to the thermosetting silicone rubber to perform a formation by cross-linking and then dipping the rubber into the silicone oil. CONSTITUTION:A composition is obtained by mixing a synthetic mixture of C8F17SO3Na and a composition shown by the formula plus an organic peroxide such as the 2,4-dichlorobenzoyl peroxide, dicumyl peroxide or the like to the thermosetting silicone rubber having the 5X10<14>OMEGA-cm volume resistivity. Such composition is wound round a metallic core to receive a curing in a press or a kettle curing. After this, the composition is dipped into the silicone oil to be finished into a proper form. The above-mentioned synthetic mixture and organic peroxide are preferably added by 0.5-7.0pts.wt. and 0.1-3pts.wt. respectively to the 100pts.wt. silicone rubber.
