摘要 PURPOSE:To distribute and mix light bidirectionally among three pieces of optical fibers by disposing a reflecting mirror device in a position which reflects part of parallel rays in a perpendicular direction and allows the passage of the other part. CONSTITUTION:The light transmitting in an optical fiber 2 is converted to parallel luminous fluxes by a pi/2 cut cylindrical type focusing lens 5. The half thereof is reflected by the reflecting specular surface on the left side of a reflecting mirror 7a of a columnar shape of a rectangular equilateral triangle and the remaining half is reflected by the reflecting specular surface on the right side, and these respectively enter pi/2 cut cylinderical focusing lenses 4, 6. The light transmitting in an optical fiber 3 is converted to parallel luminous fluxes by a focusing lens 6. The half thereof is reflected by the reflecting specular surface opposite to the lens 6, and the remaining half advances rectilinearly without being affected by the reflecting mirror 7a. These are made incident respectively to the focusing lenses 5, 4. The same holds true of the light transmitting in an optical fiber 1.
