PIEZOELECTRIC CERAMIC OSCILLATOR AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of the piezoelectric constant that is caused by a diffusion of the noxious component contained in an electrode material, by providing an electrode made of the silicone resin containing graphite particles onto the surface of a thin-plate type piezoelectric ceramic element. CONSTITUTION:A pastelike electrode is coated by a screen print method on at least a main surface of thin-plate type piezoelectric ceramic element 1 by means of a binder of the silicone resin obtained by denaturing to graphite particles by the alkyd resin. Thus an electrode 2 is obtained after a drying of 10-30min at 100 deg.C and then an baking for an hour in an electric oven of 400-550 deg.C. In such way, no lowering is caused during a process of production for the piezoelectric characteristics, and furthermore the characteristics is never lowered even in a high-temperature atmosphere.
