PURPOSE:To install an automatic answering circuit to a telephone and the branch circuit of a data terminal, and thus the automatic answering circuit is switched to the data terminal when a special signal arrives at this circuit after receipt of an incoming call and then used as a telephone circuit when no special signal arrives. CONSTITUTION:When a call is received from a calling telephone, a call relay R of an automatic answering circuit 7 works. Then a talking becomes possible when the called subscriber picks up the handset of a telephone 1. In case a call is given from a calling data terminal, the calling system is identical with a connecting method to a telephone. Only in case a special signal is transmitted from the calling data terminal, the signal receiver REC of the circuit 7 actuates the data terminal switch relay DT to switch the telephone circuit to a data terminal 2. Thus a connection to the terminal 2 completes. |
