A position transducer arrangement contg. several transducers, each of which when active sends an identification signal to the control unit to which they are all connected, requires no power supply and enables the output signals to be transferred over large distances with a high degree of noise imminity. The control unit (STE) contains a light source (LQ) whose light is fed via an optical conductor (L) to a modulator (MOD) connected to the transducers (SG1,SG2....SG7). When a transducer is activated the modulator modulates the light in such a way as to identify that transducer. The modulated light is then fed back to a receiver (L8) in the control unit. Each transducer may have an associated optical conductor. In one transducer switch position the light path is opened and in the other it is closed. |
