<p>In a load diverter switch for tap switches of transformers having a main switching contact and a continuous current contact at each of two operating positions a force storage drive acts through a cam (24) of a switching crank having two pairs of ratchet abutments (28, 281 and 29, 291) cooperating with a respective paw lever (30, 31) for preventing untimely return motion of the switching crank. One ratchet abutment (28, 29) of each pair prevents untimely return from a respective operating position where both contacts are closed in normal operation of the switch. The other ratchet abutments (281, 291) are located to prevent untimely return where only the main switching contact is closed under low temperature conditions, when the oil in which the contacts are switched has an increased viscosity. <IMAGE></p> |
