PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of the DC voltage after smoothing without damaging the smoothing effect by means of a capacitor, by connecting a parallel circuit of a choke coil and a diode to a smoothing capacitor in series. CONSTITUTION:The rectifying-smoothing circuit comprises an input terminal 1, grounding terminals 2 and 4, an output terminal 3, an diode D1 whose cathode is connected to the input terminal 1, a capacitor C1 connected between the anode of the diode D1 and the grounding terminal 2, and a choke coil L1 connected to the diode D1 in parallel. When an AC power source e1 is applied, the current of the choke coil L1 increases gradually. In response thereto, the voltage across the capacitor C1 rises. Accordingly, the voltage appearing at the output terminal 3 has a waveform filling the through of that of the AC power source e1 having been rectified, so that the output current is a smoothed direct current. |
