PURPOSE:To obtain a high-reliable generator after improving cooling by inserting the heat sink of a voltage regulator in a groove section solidly molded at a part of a brush holder by resin for fixing. CONSTITUTION:The holder 15 for brushes 20a, 20b is solidly molded by resin together with a terminal plate to fix to the rear bracket 16 of a generator by screws 17a, 17b. And a semiconductor voltage regulator 18 composed on a ceramic substrate is sticked to the holder 15 by adhesive and a fixed heat sink 19 made of aluminium or the like is inserted in a concaved groove section 15a solidly molded at a part of the brush holder 15 by resin for fixing. In this way, miniaturization is permitted and installation is facilitated as well and unlike convensional way, the heat sink is not thermally connected to the rear bracket and the heat sink receives cooling wind from the window of the rear bracket. Therefore, reliability can be increased by improving cooling. |
