PURPOSE:To improve the distinctness of printing by making a support body for a heatsensitive recording layer out of a pigment compounded paper. CONSTITUTION:Pigments such as clay, kaolin and titamium oxide are mixed singly or plurally mixed to make a paper for a support body. In thicknesswise, the pigment is distributed most at the center, less at the upper portion 1 and further less at the lower portion as compared with the upper portion. The content of the pigment is set at 10-30wt% of the total weight of the paper. The smoothness of the surface thereof is raised to more than 65sec/cc by calendering and the mixture of color developing dye such as triphenyl methane based leuco dye, acid substance such as acid white earth and kaolin and adhesive such as polyvinyl alcohol is applied on the pigment compounded paper. Then, a wax is applied to adjust the recording sensitivity and reduce pressure color development. The recording paper thus obtained is easy to read with a less luster of the surface. |
