The retention device consists of a tongue which is held at the top of the shaft of a connection clamping screw in a junction block. The tongue rests under the head of the screw and has an elastic window through which the screw is introduced. The junction block is insulating and contains a housing in which a fluke on the end of the tongue slides parallel to the axis of the screw. The tongue hold the screw captive, and prevents its loss under all circumstances. The tongue has an opening with a circular sector which rests with a little play around a groove under the head of the screw. The fluke on the end of the tonue is bent at right angles and slides vertically in a window in the connector body with some play. The thickness of the tongue is such that it can slide, with play, within a vertical channel.
|
