PURPOSE:To display various colors with simple structure by controlling and fixing the cathode voltage of each electron gun depending on the assignment of each luminous color. CONSTITUTION:For example, a phosphor screen in which a P33 luminous body which a emits light in a long persistence orange color and a P11 phosphor which emits light in a short persistence blue color are treated in a penetration-type form is used as a phosphor screen 23 which is coated and formed on the inner surface of a panel 22 that forms a part of a vacuum enclosure 21 consisting of glass, etc. Two electron guns 251 and 252 are parallelly arranged in the neck of the vacuum enclosure 21. The cathode voltage of each electron guns 251 and 252 is controlled and fixed depending on the assignment of each luminous color. |
