PURPOSE:To prevent information, stored in a buffer memory until a P wave of an initial shock of an earthquake is sensed, from disappearing, by stopping a disk storage device right after the P wave is sensed. CONSTITUTION:Once a P-wave sensor 23 senses a P wave, any new information is not supplied to a buffer memory 3 and information having already been stored is read out and then written on a disk through a writing circuit 4 and a head. Then, an actuator is controlled by the output of a positioning circuit 5 to separate heads 7-10 from the disk. Through the operation of a motor relay 21, feeding electricity to a motor is stopped to decelerate and stop the motor through a brake 20. |
