HT distribution box with protective breaker - has mobile male and stationary female connectors, auxiliary circuit breaker and logic control circuit

The distribution box, handling power ratings up to 100 KW has a fixed female contact and a mobile male contact, an auxiliary breaker and a control logic system. The male contact is moved vertically relative to the female contact via an electric drive, an hydraulic or pneumatic jack or via a manually operated device with a selective blocking device coupled to the control logic. The male contact is permanently connected to a normal breaker, which is controlled by the control logic, as is the displacement of the male contact. Pref. the control logic uses a printed circuit module and a microprocessor. The distribution box is compact to allow its use in small scale installations, e.g. for telecommunications system.
