<p>The catch for holding shutters ajar includes a pivot (6) attached to one shutter (1) which has a width greater than the thickness of the latch (8) allowing the latch to be displaced parallel to or at an angle with the shutter (1). A hook (14) is attached to the other shutter (2) and presents a surface to the latch (8) which is at least twice as wide as the thickness of the latch (8). The latch contains notches which locate onto the hook (14), one corresponding to a closed position and another in which the shutters are held ajar.</p> |
