PURPOSE:To suck in an ink mist existing between a jetting head and a charging electrode and prevent a leak and a short-circuit by a method wherein an insulating body provided with an air suction port is placed between the charging electrode and the jetting head. CONSTITUTION:The ink jetting head 1 and the charging electrode 2 are fixed to an insulating base 3. A sheet 5 of Teflon (trade name) is bonded to the end face of the electrode 2 on the side of the head 1. The air suction port 6 is provided at a lower part between the head 1 and the end face of the electrode 2, and it is connected to a pump (a) through a pipe 7 and an air hose 8. Accordingly, the ink mist and ink spray generated at a nozzle part of the head 1 are sucked into the suction port 6 together with air, without floating at the nozzle part for a long period of time. |
