PURPOSE:To pack a rigid container, e.g., cup, etc. with ground fish meat compactly, by feeding excessively the ground fish meat from plural nozzles to the container under reduced pressure, followed by breaking the reduced pressure. CONSTITUTION:Ground fish meat having water content at least >=40wt% based on fish meat is fed from nozzles having diameters 2-20mm. and arranged dispersedly at intervals of 5-50mm. in order to match the shape of a container to be packed to it under reduced pressure <=100mm.Hg, preferably from 30mm.Hg to several mm.Hg, until the top level of the packed ground fish meat has no vacant space and is positioned at higher than the top end of the container. The feed is stopped, the reduced pressure is broken, the container packed with the ground fish meat is exposed to atmospheric pressure, and, if necessary, it is put under pressure, so that the vacant spaces produced in the ground fish meat are collapsed by the atmospheric pressure, and the container is sealed. |
