PURPOSE:To prevent the rate of adhesion between immobilized enzyme film and an electrode from changing by sealing one opening part of a pipe with said enzyme film, and fitting the electrode into this pipe in such a manner that the detecting end of the electrode contacts said film. CONSTITUTION:An immobilized enzyme film 1 is adhered to one opening end face 4 of a pipe 2. An electrode 5 is fitted into the pipe 2 through the opening part in the other end 3 thereof. The above-mentioned immobilized film is made by immobilizing enzyme to one sheet of a high polymer film or by immobilizing enzyme by using >=2 sheets of high polymer films. It is fixed to the pipe 2 by a method of firmly fixing the same along the circumference of the pipe 2 by using an adhesive, O-ring or the like. The assembling of the above-mentioned electrode 5 is accomplished by inserting the electrode into the pipe 2 from the opening part 3 at its one end in a manner that the detecting end 9 contacts the film 1 surface, and tightening a cap 7 while observing the degree of tension of the film 1 from the outer side thereby closely fitting the detecting end 9 of the electrode 5 to the film surface 1. A packing 6 is an elastic member for adjusting and absorbs the slight loosening of the film. |
