PURPOSE:To vulcanize and form the bent rubber hose with different diameters of every kind of shapes easily by covering a rubber hose not vulcanized on a mandrel in metal with a tubular rubber cap and vulcanizing it. CONSTITUTION:The rubber hose 2 not vulcanized is thrust into the mandrel 1 in metal of a predetermined shape, the tubular rubber cap 3 consisting of vulcanized rubber 4 is inserted to a bent section with different diameters of the mandrel, said rubber hose 2 not vulcanized is pushed and deformed in a specified shape and vulcanized, and the mandrel 1 and the tubular rubber cap 3 are removed. Preferably, the rubber hose 2 not vulcanized and the tubular rubber cap 3 are inserted by using a release agent. Since cloth is not wound and a die is not employed, labor is not required, and burr, etc. are not formed. This manufacture is particularly proper to a water hose 6 for an automobile. |
