<p>The scale is to represent details of the contemporaries of a given person. It consists of a plastics sheet of about 25cm x 35 cm, on which are names in alphabetical order on the OY axis. Other details, such as politics, age, dates of birth, death etc. are marked on the OX axis. A cursor has two indices on the plastic sheet and moves on the OX axis. A second cursor, with an index on it, moves on the OY axis. To use, the first cursor is placed in the name and the second cursor is moved to the chosen name etc.</p> |
