PURPOSE:To measure extra small torque with high accuracy by installing a magnet at the tip of a rotation axis provided with a coil spring and measuring the rotation of the magnet with a magnetism detecting element after balancing the rotational torque of the object to be measured and the coil spring. CONSTITUTION:A rotation axis 6 provided with a piece of magnet 4 at the tip is supported by a bearing 20 on a fixing table 12 of a stand 7. Further, a contact piece 2 which is connected to a pointer 14 of an object 13 to be measured and rotates with the rotation axis 6 is supported by a balancing coil spring 1. The case 14 is slid on the stand 7 by a slider 8 through a cam 10 and a position adjusting pin 15 by moving an operation lever 11. The rotational force of the object to be measured rotates the rotation axis 6 to a position where it balances with the balancing coil spring 1 to obtain specified angle of rotation.
