PURPOSE:To prevent a mismatched discharing by supplying via a distributor a high-voltage pulse for discharging start which is induced in a secondary side of an ignition coil and a high-voltage pulse for plasma ignition. CONSTITUTION:A high-voltage pulse is generated for a discharging start by a combination of a battery VB, switching circuit SW, and a ignition coil 2. A capacitor 8 is charged by using a power supply 7 for a plasma ignition. The ignition coil 2 and the capacitor 8 are connected to a distributor SD. By this mechanism, a mismatched discharing can be prevented and the number of a large and high-priced high-withstand voltage diodes can be reduced from the former 5 to 2. |
