PURPOSE:To reduce the noise produced from a core by secruing a plurality of gap spacers to a core block, then simulataneously polishing the end faces of the spacers and finishing them in the same plane. CONSTITUTION:An insulating cylinder 303 is disposed in the center of a mold 11 made of a cylinder with a bottom, and electromagnetic steel plates 301 are vertically stood and radially aligned to form a core block 3. A plurality of cylindrical gas spacers 4 made of porcelain or the like are disposed at the prescribed interval on the upper end surface of the block 3. The lower end surfaces of the respective gaps spacers 4 are polished in advance. Then, thermosetting resin 12 is filled therein and thermally set. Thereafter, the upper end faces of the spacers 4 are polished in the same plane so that all the spacers 4 may become in the same plane in a sufficient acuracy. When the mold 11 is then removed, a leg forming block 10 can be obtained. Thus, the formation of the gap between the respective blocks and the spacers can be, when a core for a reactor is assembled, prevented. |
