Testing data stored in telephone exchange memories - storing characteristic information signal in present cells of each memory, which can be added in summation signal for memory module

The tested data in the telephone exchange memories are used for control and programmed purposes, as well as for marking terminals, operational hierarchy, and exchange design. The memories consist of a number of memory components, formed into memory modules. Inside each memory component (SPB) a single information (EI), characterising the content of this component, is deposited in preset memory cells (SPZ). These informations from all components, belonging to a single memory module (SPM), are computed in a summation information (SI) which is also stored within the respective memory module. Both the individual information and the summation information are read, using specified testing procedures and compared with data, concerning the respective exchange and stored in a different position, or printed. Pref., when the contents of a memory component is changed, the characteristic individual information is also changed.
