<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the trailing of a friction pad at the outer side by obtaining the desired sliding characteristic between a sliding supporting surface of a stopper plug and a sliding surface of a caliper facing to the sliding supporting surface. CONSTITUTION:When braking force is not geneeated only by the sliding of a surface of interest a due to the progress of the abrasion of a lining of the friction pad, the caliper 1 slides against a plug plate A4 at a sliding surface b section due to moving force functioning to the caliper 1, and the braking force is generated. When the brakes are taken off, moving force in the disc axial direction to the caliper 1 expires, thus generating no relative movement between the caliper 1 and the plug plate A4 from the relationship of mua<mub. Between the stopper plug 3 and the plug plate A4, however, relative movement is generated due to the righting moment of an elastic body.</p> |
