PURPOSE:To rapidly execute correspondence between a graphic and a graph by displaying a graph along a line and a plane specified on an optional graphic displayed on the screen of a graphic display device. CONSTITUTION:A part of a graphic displayed on the graphic display device 7 which is to be displayed on a graph is specified by an input device 1. An input data processing part 2 converts an input signal into a signal indicating a position in the graphic and extracts physical data such as coordinate data, temperature, stress, etc., previously stored in a storage device 5 on the basis of the converted signal. The physical data are sent to a display graphic data composing part 3 and composed with other graph data to prepare data necessary for display. These data are sent to a display processing part 4 and converted into display graphic data, which are sent to a display control device 6. The device 6 converts the graphic data in accordance with an expanding rate, a contracting rate, etc., and finally a graph 30 is displayed on the device 7 along a specified side 23. |
